| Elevation View of Dual Pressure Waste Heat Boiler |
Advanced waste heat boiler system to cool air in a closed-loop Brayton Cycle. Using seven components with longitudinal finned tubes, this unique dual-pressure boiler system is part of the first commercial-size solid fueled, closed gas turbine cycle to use an atmospheric fluid bed heat source. There is pressure on both the air and steam sides. Steam side conditions: 50,000 lb/hr at 600 psig and 750° F and 6,000 lb/hr of saturated steam at 50 psig. The air side flow rate is 366,240 lb/hr at 188 psig. The air stream is cooled from 1,046° F to 83° F. >
