Isometric and 3D views make visualizing the design easy for you the customer. Autodesk Inventor has become the standard development tool to create robust 3D virtual models. Base models are linked to design spreadsheets, allowing the models to be updated parametrically. These 3D models are linked to 2D detail drawings that are updated with the 3D models when a spreadsheet parameter is changed. This software has the ability to analyze strengths, weaknesses and interferences all but eliminating design errors. A full bill of materials is generated effortlessly with accurate part count for manufacturing. Design manhours have been significantly reduced which translates to overall cost reduction.
